fayeDirector and Teacher

Faye Bradbrook established DramaWorks Theatre Company in 2008. Faye is English and has been living in Budapest since 2006. Faye trained as an actress and dancer with the YEM Theatre School, Hampshire, U.K. She gained her teaching diplomas with the London College of Music at Thames Valley University and the Professional Teachers of Dance. Faye is also a qualified English Language teacher.

In 2001 Faye opened the ‘Little Dragon Theatre Company' in which she worked as a director, teacher and children's entertainer. She wrote and performed a variety of magical stories for children. After moving to Budapest Faye continued her enthusiasm for Theatre in Education as a teacher of Drama and English. "I believe the imagination is a wonderful tool for teaching and learning, especially for young children".

Faye continues to work as a performer on stage and her most recent performances include 'The System of Dr Pagan' performed at the Merlin International Theatre, the voice of Gunhild in ‘Egil the Last Pagan' and playing the parts of Flicker in the ‘Three Little Pigs', Henrietta in ‘I Am Not A Robot' and Sarah in ‘Clone Alone' for Broken Reins Theatre in Education.

Music Theatre Teacher

Valéria Polyák is a qualified singing teacher who gained her first Masters in Singing and Teaching in 2005. In 2006 she worked in South Korea as a guest music teacher at the Hansei University. She also won the Pitti-Pavarotti Scholarship to Rome, Italy and the Wagner Scholarship, to Bayreuth, Germany. Valeria went on to graduate at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest in 2008 with a Masters in Opera Singing and Teaching. She is also an accomplished performer and has won prizes including first place in the Richard Wagner National Singing Competition.

She is currently an opera singer at the Hungarian State Opera House. Valeria stated teaching at DramaWorks in September 2010. She has a wonderful rapport with the students and teaches with the great enthusiasm.

Drama and English Teacher

Amy Madeley is from the U.K and graduated in Theatre Performance from Queen Mary University of London in 2008. Since then she has worked extensively with children in theatre in education in London and abroad, performing in theatre shows, teaching drama classes and directing children’s theatre productions. She has a huge passion for theatre and is a great believer in the educational, theatrical and social benefits of theatre in education. Her most recent roles include Alice, in Alice in Wonderland, Wendy, in Peter Pan, Guinevere in Excalibur and Friar Tuck in Robin Hood.

Drama and Music Theatre Teacher
Wi-Moto Nyoka is a Music Theatre teacher from the USA . She received her BFA in musical theatre from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She worked for several years in professional regional theatre for both children and adults, before moving into music composition. She spent a year at the Tanzhaus NRW in Germany, where she was the head music instructor of vocal training and a participant of their new works showcase program Now & Next. She is currently performing with her band and developing a motion comic.
